The city is developing a new tool to help designers better plan out roadways in Hamilton that take into account all users and make streets safer. The tool evaluates a road, categorizes it, and suggests priorities with the ultimate goal of balancing all modes of transportation and working towards Vision Zero — eliminating road fatalities.
